Meet Your Webinar Hosts

Philip Knight

Philip Knight has over 30 years’ experience in Asset Finance. He started his career at Lloyds Corporate Banking, before moving to the Group Credit department at Lloyds Bank Head Office Risk Management. Following roles in Credit and Risk at Lloyds Bowmaker, De Lage Landen and BNP Paribas, Philip joined Asset Advantage in 2007.

Philip is still very hands on with underwriting proposals on a daily basis, and will frequently meet with customers in person or via teams to get a full picture of the proposal. This in-person meeting gives the customer the chance to get a lender invested in the growth of their business. In many cases this first meeting leads to a decade-long relationship between customer, broker and lender.

Katie Dowse

Katie Dowse has over 30 years’ experience as an Asset Finance broker. She started her career in the sales aid leasing market with Lombard North Central PLC working in motor finance, plant and machinery and office equipment. She then moved to Xerox Finance Ltd supporting the graphics arts channel in several roles. In 2007 she set up her own asset finance brokerage. Coming to Asset Advantage she brings a wealth of contacts, and an understanding of the objectives and challenges brokers face.
