Asset Advantage have launched a series of webinars to support brokers’ education on different topics.
The informative events are scheduled every month, and cover a range of different topics, reflecting the commonly asked questions from members of the broker panel.
Philip Knight, Credit and Risk Director at Asset Advantage is the lead speaker on the webinars, and this gives brokers the opportunity to listen to an experienced underwriter explain what he’s looking for on particular deals, and put their question directly to him. Participants also benefit from hearing what other brokers want to know.
Commenting on the webinars, Philp Knight said: “It’s a great way for us to engage with our broker panel and share some of our experience in the industry. I’m hoping that the webinars are useful for brokers on all their deals, not just the ones they have for us.”
The first webinar of the year focusing on New-Start businesses took place on 1 February and became fully booked within two days of registration opening.
One participant said: “Thank you for putting the Webinar together. It was incredibly helpful to the team, I will forward the recording to those who could not attend.”
The schedule for the next three months is now available, and interested brokers are recommended to book quickly to secure their place:
- Security Focus: What, When and Why
7 March, 10:30 – 11:30 - Business Loans (Including MBOs and MBIs)
11 April, 10:30 – 11:30 - Proposal Insight: Sale & Leaseback
16 May, 10:30 – 11:30
Katie Dowse, Business Development Manager said: “We very much want to work in a positive way with our broker panel and hope that an insight into underwriting in the SME market through the webinars will help. Those attending the webinars need to already be approved brokers on our panel, however we welcome new members, so I encourage anyone interested to contact me directly, with a view to being added to our panel.”
